This document will help you prepare for your upcoming appointment and provides answers to frequently asked questions. Included are our billing policies and a detailed explanation of how we work with our clients.
Please review our cancellation policy detailed on our website and within the Scope of Practice document. We strictly adhere to this policy to manage our schedule and resources effectively. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please inform us at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us the opportunity to fill the time slot. We understand emergencies can occur and will consider exceptions on a case-by-case basis, but generally, appointments cancelled or rescheduled without 24 hours notice will forfeit the session fee. Should we need to cancel your appointment for any reason, you will be provided with a link to reschedule at a time that suits you.
Please note that as hypnosis is a process-oriented therapy and not results-guaranteed, we do not offer refunds. Payments are for the therapist’s time, not specific outcomes. Each individual’s response to hypnosis can vary.
We ask that you log in to your session promptly. Our schedule is often fully booked, and late starts can not always be accommodated. If you are more than 10 minutes late without notifying us, the session will be considered cancelled, and no refunds will be issued. Participants in our Financial Assistance Program should note that this will count as a No Call – No Show, which could lead to termination from the program.
While we strive to ensure consistency, emergencies or unforeseen circumstances may require us to assign a different certified hypnotherapist for your session. All our professionals are well-versed in hypnotherapy, with specialized knowledge relevant to the kink and AB/DL communities.
We use Google Meet for our sessions, which is compatible with most devices and ensures privacy through encryption. Please have a stable setup for your device during the session to allow for a clear view of your face and upper body, and use headphones to enhance audio privacy and clarity. It is important that you remain hands-free and relaxed throughout the session to facilitate the hypnotic process.
Hypnosis is a collaborative process where you remain in control at all times. Despite common misconceptions, hypnosis is not about the therapist controlling your mind. Instead, it involves guiding you to utilize your own mental faculties more effectively. Hypnosis can feel different for everyone; some may experience it as a sleep-like state, while others might feel more alert. Regardless of how it feels, your unconscious mind is always listening and engaging with the process.
Your initial session will include an assessment and provide time for any questions you may have. This is a great opportunity to discuss your goals and learn more about how hypnosis can work for you.
